Michael Hodges began his hair career as an apprentice for Reginald Laws, world-renowned British Hairdresser.
Taught on the basics of Vidal Sassoon and Toni and Guy; Michael finished his training with Reg, and found a home with one of Washington’s first all Aveda product salons; Wilder & Wilder, Georgetown in 1990.
Apprenticing under such an accomplished stylist such as Reginald, gave Michael the strong base on which to build his education through Aveda as well as advanced education in barbering.
During the last 25 years in the Washington area, Michael has continued to sharpen his techniques, and continue to educate himself with Aveda.
His passion for color, cuts and styling advanced him to the top of each salon he worked in, until finally opening Logan 14 Aveda Salon Spa in the eclectic and fast growing Logan Circle community.
In Logan circle, people are catching on to Michael’s keen eye for classic men’s haircuts, and razor sharp fades… perfect for the current trends in men’s haircuts. The ladies are also keen on Michael’s long hair styling and Hi-lites.
Michael plans to have many years in Logan Circle with Logan 14 Salon Spa where his has assembled a talented and eclectic team where he fondly refers to as his family.
